Blackberry Brie Bites
Next up, we have the blackberry brie bites…. MMMMMmmmm these were so good and smelled amazing as they came out of the oven. These are so easy and a kid favorite. The fresh fruit on top makes each bite perfectly sweet.
4 ingredients for these babies! Grab out some toothpicks, 1 8oz block of brie cheese, 24 blackberries – fresh please!, ½ cup blackberry jam and 1 package of refrigerated crescent rolls.
First off, start that oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray your muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. Next separate your crescent rolls into 4 rectangles. Press the seams together and cut each rectangle into 6 even squares. Place each square into the prepared muffin tin. I kind of stretched the dough out a bit to make them lay nice in the tins.
Now grab your brie cheese and take that yucky rind off. This is easy, all you will do is grab a serrated knife and lay the cheese on its side, slice the tough part off and continue to do so for the whole block. Then cut the cheese into 24 pieces, placing inside each crescent roll.
Next up, add in your black berry jam on top of the cheese and fold the tips of the crescent rolls over the jelly and cheese. Pop them in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
Once they are all cooked, take them out and place a fresh blueberry on top with a toothpick. I went to Michaels and bought some really fun toothpicks for this party but you can use anything or you don’t really have to use toothpicks. Eat them up and enjoy! They are the perfect little desert that pops right into your mouth and goes down so smoothly. These were a big hit at the party and I cannot stress how quick they are to make!
