INGREDIENTS

  • Frozen meatballs

  • Marinara sauce

  • Hotdog buns

  • Mozzarella cheese slices

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese

Meatball Subs

When the week gets hectic, there's nothing like a warm, cheesy meatball sub to bring everyone to the table. This recipe is perfect for busy nights, offering a hearty, flavorful meal that's easy to pull together in no time.

First, add the meatballs to a skillet over medium heat with a little water. Reduce the heat once it starts to boil. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes. Add in your favorite marinara sauce and cook for another 20 minutes over medium heat. Turn your oven to broil. Split hotdog buns into 2 and butter both sides and place them on a baking sheet face up. On one side, add slices of mozzarella cheese. Once the meatballs are ready, add them to the buns with cheese slices and top with additional shredded mozzarella cheese. Top with other bun and pop them all in the oven for about 5 minutes.

Take out and enjoy!
