shredded cheese
optional - peppers and onions
Sheet Pan Quesadillas
On those evenings when time is tight and you need a meal that’s both satisfying and simple, sheet pan quesadillas are the answer. These cheesy, crispy delights take the fuss out of cooking, letting you enjoy a tasty dinner with minimal cleanup. Perfect for busy weeknights or when you’re feeding a crowd, these quesadillas come together quickly and can be customized to fit your taste.
First, preheat the oven to 425 degrees. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown hamburger and season with taco seasoning. On a half baking sheet, place 6 tortillas on the edges of the pan so that half of the tortilla hangs over the side. Place 2 tortillas in the center to cover the pan completely. Top with ground beef and cheese. If you want to add in peppers or onions, make sure to saute them first, then add them here.
Place two tortillas on top in the center and fold each tortilla towards the center. Place another baking sheet on top of the tortillas, this helps hold its shape. Cook for 20 minutes and take the baking sheet off and cook for another 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
Slice into rectangles and enjoy!
