INGREDIENTS
pasta (macaroni or rotini)
cauliflower
butter
flour
ground mustard
garlic powder
milk
white cheddar cheese
Lowry’s seasoning salt

I’m pretty sure that most adults love a great homemade macaroni and cheese recipe just as much as my kids do and this one is filled with secret vegetables which makes a mom feel a little better. Let’s go!
First up, pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees and grease a 9x13 or 9x9 pan. Whichever you have, works! Fill a large pot with water and bring that to a boil. When roaring, add in pasta and cauliflower. Cooking until al dente ~ 8-10 minutes. Yes, the noodles and cauliflower will get done at the same time :)
Drain pasta and cauliflower and transfer to your prepared baking dish. In your same pot, give it a quick rinse and place it back on the stove. Let’s make the creamy, white cheddar cheese sauce for the best ever cauliflower Mac and cheese. Melt butter over medium heat and add in your flour, dry mustard garlic powder. Stir everything together.
Slowly add in the milk and whisk until it is smooth and thick. Once the milk starts to bubble (5 minutes) reduce the heat and add in your shredded white cheddar cheese. Stir everything together until melted and pour over your pasta and cauliflower. Sprinkle on a little Lowry’s seasoning salt and pepper. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!
