Peanut Butter Cheerio Balls
The newest 2hungrydaughters creation just in time for our family roadtrip to the Black Hills. Peanut Butter Cheerio Balls are crispy, crunchy, sweet and just an amazing mix of flavors from marshmallows and peanut butter. And of course that sweet honey.
Ingredients
Peanut Butter
Honey
Marshmallows
Cheerios
If you don’t like Cheerios, I am not sure we can be friends. These are just like popcorn balls but made with Cheerios instead. Your kids will love these as a snack or in their lunchbox.
Peanut Butter Lovers Unite
First up, get out a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. Set aside. Place peanut butter, marshmallows and honey in a medium sauce pan over medium high heat. Stirring and cooking until the marshmallows have melted.
Remove from the heat and stir in the cheerios. Once everything is saturated. Using 2/3 cup measuring cup, make the peanut butter cheerio balls with your hands. Place on the baking sheet. The mixture will be warm while you roll into balls. Set in the fridge and let set for at least an hour. Wrap individually with saran/cling wrap or place in a ziplock baggy.
Enjoy them whenever you want!
Peanut butter a no go in your house hold? You can easily substitute almond or cashew butter.
