Fluffernutter Peanut Butter Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • flour

  • baking soda

  • salt

  • butter

  • brown sugar

  • sugar

  • creamy peanut butter

  • vanilla extract

  • egg

  • mini marshmallows




Soft & Chewy Cookies

First off, the marshmallows need to be frozen before making this recipe. Freeze marshmallows for atleast 1 hour before using and keep them in the freezer until you are ready to add them to the recipe.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside. In a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking soda and salt. Set this aside, we will come back to it. In another mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Next, add in peanut butter, egg and vanilla. You may need to scrape the bowl. Add in your dry ingredients and make sure everything is incorporated.

Now it is time for the marshmallows! Grab them from the freezer and add a big ole cup full into the dough. Using a cookie scoop, shape dough into balls and place a few inches apart on a prepared baking sheet. Keep remaining cooking dough in the fridge until you are ready to bake with it. Finally, baking cookies for 11 minutes or until the edges begin to brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet. Serve them up or store in a Tupperware.
