Homemade Cake Pops
My girls LOVE cake pops. What I don’t LOVE is spending $10 on 2 of them from Starbucks or Caribou. Making them at home has been so much more fun because the girls can help and they are easy to grab whenever they want.
INGREDIENTS
5-6 large frosted cookies from Target or any grocery store
cream cheese
vanilla extract
almond bark
sprinkles
cake pop sticks or straws cut in half
No Bake Dessert for the WIN
First off, add cookies and 2 oz of cream cheese into a mixing bowl. Mix together using stand mixer or hand mixer. Either works fine. Then, add in vanilla extract and continue mixing. When it is all mixed together, roll dough into balls and place on parchment paper. Place straws or sticks in the center of the dough and pop into the freezer for 30 minutes.
Once they are ready, melt almond bark and dip cake pops; covering them entirely. Place on parchment paper and add sprinkles. Once chocolate has hardened, enjoy! Your kids won’t be able to tell the difference. Mom WIN!
