INGREDIENTS
chicken breasts
olive oil
all purpose rub (salt, pepper, garlic)
paprika
lemons
bowtie pasta
butter
garlic
heavy cream
parmesan cheese
parsley (for garnish)
Pasta is always a hit.
Let’s go! First, cook bowtie pasta according to the package instructions, drain and set aside. Season chicken breasts with olive oil, AP rub and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in chicken breasts, I like to cook 2 at a time. Cook for about 7 minutes per side or until cooked through (internal temperature 165 degrees). Squeeze the juice from a lemon over the chicken, remove from the pan and set aside.
Next, we will make the creamy white pasta sauce. A family favorite!! In that same skillet, melt the butter and add in minced garlic. Saute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add in the parmesan cheese and another squeeze of a lemon. Mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce thickens. Add the pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Slice chicken and place on top of the pasta.
Enjoy!
