HOW DO I MAKE THIS CROCKPOT BBQ PULLED PORK?

To give this crockpot BBQ pulled pork flavor, you have to sear the meat. Using yellow mustard as our binder, we will cover the pork butt and season with the AP Rub and the BBQ Rub. Sear each side for 60 seconds and place in the crockpot. Simply cook the crockpot BBQ pulled pork until it is tender, shred with two forks or a hand mixer and pour your favorite BBQ sauce on and enjoy.

Wait a minute, let’s back up. In your crockpot, add the liquid smoke and beef broth, then place the seared pork butt into the crockpot. 4 hours into cooking, add in the BBQ sauce. This is where we also added our secret ingredient, to give it a little kick of flavor and make it sticky. Continue cooking the meat for another 4 hours. Total time in the crockpot should be about 8 hours. The pulled pork will pretty much shred itself or else grab 2 forks or even a hand mixer and shred it up. Serve it with your favorite sides and enjoy!

This crockpot BBQ pulled pork is tender and flavorful and tastes delicious on top of King’s Hawaiian Slider buns. Using a crockpot is the best way to take the guess work out of your dinner plans.
