Elevating your sandwich game.
Spice up your sandwich game with this jalapeño popper grilled cheese! Creamy, cheesy, and with just the right amount of heat, it’s the perfect blend of comfort and kick for an easy lunch or a quick dinner.
First up, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with 3-4 pieces of tin foil and cook bacon in the oven. This will take about 30 minutes; keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn! Next up, make your cream cheese mixture. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together cream cheese, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and diced jalapeños. Set aside, we will come back to it.
Heat up your skillet to medium heat. Grab two slices of bread and spread mayo on one side of each piece. Heat up and toast in the skillet. Take off and build your jalapeño popper grilled cheese. Spread cream cheese mixture across one piece of bread; not the same side as the mayo. Add shredded cheese and bacon strips on top. Cover with the other slice of bread, with mayo side facing up. Heat up in a skillet until crispy. Take out and enjoy!
