Baby Back Ribs

These BBQ Ribs are jam packed with a delicious flavor. So, how about we get making them. We call them 3-2-1 BBQ Ribs because its 3hrs on the grill, 2 hours wrapped in tinfoil and 1 hour unwrapped.

First thing, remove ribs from package and remove the casing from the back side of ribs. If you aren’t comfortable doing this, your local butcher will do it for free. Pat them dry with a paper towel and gather your binder & seasonings.

Next, apply your binder. It can be your favorite yellow mustard, worshestchire sauce or some sort of hot sauce. We prefer yellow mustard, cover the rack of ribs with this. Now lets add the seasonings. Whether you have a favorite BBQ Rub or all purpose seasoning, go ahead and cover the ribs with that.

Fire up the grill or smoker to 225 degrees. Place ribs on the grill for 3 hours, using indirect heat. Checking on the ribs periodically. Remember this recipe is low and slowwwwww.

Remove the BBQ Ribs from grill, apply brown sugar, butter and a little BBQ sauce. Double wrap them in aluminum foil and place the BBQ ribs back on the grill for 2 hours.

Check on those ribs and remove from tinfoil, raise grill to 275 degrees, cover in your favorite barbecue sauce and cook for one more hour.

It’s time for fall off the bone, barbecue, lick your fingers good ribs. These ribs are the perfect addition to your Labor Day celebration. Serve them with sweet corn, corn bread, coleslaw and baked beans.
