Marshmallow Bunny Craft

An Easter project that is equally fun and edible. Bring it on! This marshmallow bunny craft will help with your child’s fine motor skills as well as their counting skills. My girls had so much fun doing this craft. The best part? Most of the supplies needed for the marshmallow bunny craft are in your house, right now!

Let’s gather our materials. First you will need some mini marshmallows, glue, yarn or pipe cleaners, pompoms, a pencil and construction paper. You will start by making your own template of a bunny tracing. I free hand sketched my own but if you search google, you can find one to copy! Once the bunny is outlined for this marshmallow bunny craft, you can either hand the glue over to the kids to outline or do it yourself. My 4 year old took over and did hers while I helped my youngest child.

Once, the bunny was outlined it was time to start counting and placing all of the marshmallows. My oldest daughter thought it was a race to finish hers. My youngest daughter took her time and placed each marshmallow with thoughtfulness. Once that was done, we counted who had the most marshmallows. The girls had so much fun! They may of eaten more marshmallows than they should have but it was around snack time…it sure is fun watching my 2 year old follow the 4 year olds lead.

Last thing, your bunny needs a face! You can glue on the pom pom for the nose and some yarn or pipe cleaners for the whiskers. We drew on our own eyes with a black marker. And voila! Your marshmallow bunny craft is done. This project is not only cute but yummy too, what’s not to love! Supplies linked below.

Enjoy!
