Burnt Ends
If you’ve never had pork belly burnt ends, buckle up because these little bites of heaven are about to change your BBQ game! Slow-smoked, caramelized, and melt-in-your-mouth tender, they’re like meat candy with the perfect balance of smoky, sweet, and savory flavors.
Whether you're making them for a backyard cookout, game day, or just because you deserve something ridiculously delicious, these burnt ends are guaranteed to steal the show. Let’s fire up the smoker and get cooking!
INGREDIENTS
3lbs pork belly AKA thick bacon
2-3 Tbsp Avocado oil
3 Tbsp All purpose rub
3 Tbsp Beef Dry Rub
3 Tbsp Honey Hog BBQ Rub
Sauce mixture --
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup BWW Asian Zing sauce
Spicy and Sweet
These burnt ends are best if PREPARED THE NIGHT BEFORE. Add seasoning to a bowl and mix together. Cut the pork belly into cubes and cover with avocado oil and toss in the seasoning. Make sure everything is covered. Place in the fridge overnight.
Next day, fire up the grill to 400 degrees and grill indirectly for 30 minutes. Halfway through toss burnt ends in 1/2 of the sauce mixture. Continue grilling until the internal temp is 190-195 degrees. When they are done, toss in remaining sauce and enjoy!
