Blackstone Smash Burger Sliders
Feature Friday is BACK! Summer is in full swing around here and it’s Fathers Day weekend. What better time to bring back grilling with our dad. We recently got a Blackstone and we have used it over a handful of times. Bring on alllll the new recipes. The first one we are sharing is easy and doesn’t require much guidance.
INGREDIENTS
12-24 pack Kings Hawaiian slider buns
Ground Beef
Salt and Pepper
Pepper Jack or Cheddar Cheese
Pickles
Lettuce
Bacon
Ketchup
Mustard
The details….
This Blackstone Smash Burger Sliders recipe is easy peasy. There isn’t much that really goes into the details here. So we are going to make it short and sweet. First off, depending on the amount of mouths you are feeding you will need 1-2 pounds of beef.
Next up, make some slider beef balls. Make sure each ball is about 2.5oz. Set them on a sheet pan or in the fridge until you are ready to grill. Once the Blackstone is around 400 degrees (medium heat) and ready to go, start placing the burgers on, 1 by 1. Once they are all on, take the back side of a spatula and smash down the patties. This is where we sprinkled on a little salt and pepper.
By the time you get them all smashed, the first ones will probably be ready to flip. (about 2 minutes) Be careful flipping, make sure you get the whole patty and it doesn’t stick to the Blackstone.
When all the burgers are flipped and sizzling, add your cheese. Get those buns ready to go and start making your smash burger sliders YOUR WAY. We topped ours with lettuce, bacon and tomatoes.
Burgers are always easy for get togethers and why not give the smash burger a try. Juicy, easy and delicious. We also like to do sliders because they are easier for kids to eat. Blackstone smash burger sliders pair perfectly with pasta salad, chips and some bomb pops.
Enjoy!
