BLG Wings

Has anyone been to Bar La Grass and ordered their chicken. It’s smoked and has the best flavor and goes with just about anything. After we whipped together these wings we realized quickly how much they tasted just like their chicken and immediately knew they would be called BLG Wings.

Chicken wings are a main food group in our household. Whether they are on the grill or in the air fryer, we are making them. These wings are easy to make as an appetizer or a main meal. With a sticky-sweet, lemon-garlic glaze, you won’t be able to stop eating these BLG wings.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12-15 bone in wings

  • all purpose rub

  • corn starch

  • avocado oil

  • butter

  • lemon

  • garlic

  • pepper

  • onion

  • optional - cilantro for topping

The details….

As if the smell of roasted chicken wasn’t enough. These grilled chicken wings are drenched in butter, lemon, garlic, pepper and onions. Topped off with some cilantro for finger lickin’ goodness. Let’s go!

First up, you will want to prep your wings. Dry them off and place in a medium sized mixing bowl. Add avocado oil, salt, pepper, garlic and corn starch(these measurements are all eye balled). Mix everything together until it is drenched and coated well. Place wings on the grill, cooking on low with indirect heat for about an hour. Flipping every 10 minutes and checking for flare ups. Make sure you don’t burn the chicken wings!

Next up, you can start prepping the sauce. In a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat, add in butter, lemon, garlic and pepper. Stir together, add in onions and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often. Once the wings are done on the grill, drench with sauce, top with cilantro and enjoy!

If you need to prep the BLG wings ahead of time, you can pop them in the oven to stay warm for a few hours.
